Battle is conducted in real-time, using an isometric oblique top-down viewpoint. Players fight monsters to level their character up and gain better items. There are three Skill trees and your character will be able to specialize in different skills, which will determine how you should distribute Pure Blood points. It will not be possible to specialize in every skill, so each character will be forced to spend their points on especific skills. Your character doesn't level up, you just can upgrade your skills using Pure Blood and increasing its power.
The storyline of Diablo II Blood Harvest is played through permanent death and randomization. Permanent death meaning that once the player dies, nothing comes back. It’s like the game restarts completely. Randomization means that any time a player turns on the game, it’s a completely new experience with each level being different than the last play through.
